Mode of delivery Theoretic-pratical The Curricular Unit has practical and theoretical nature and aims, in connection with the surrounding environment ( market, civil society) with recourse to experimentation and reflection, to analyze the mutations of discursive, technological and economical nature, namely those arising from the online environment.
Learning outcomes a) Developing new technological paths, new discursive and narrative models and new environments and business models in the field of regional journalism: online, written, television and radio
b)Comparatively analyzing experiences that incorporate the changes above referred to
c) Achieve autonomy in carrying out projects and capacity for innovation in terms of entrepreneurship, social intervention, and connection with the environment.
d) Test and evaluate new technological paths
e) Test and evaluate new discursive and narrative models
f) Test and evaluate new environments and business models
Syllabus 1. Media and proximity
1.1. Journalism models in proximity contexts; regional, local, hyperlocal, community and outreach journalism. Participatory Journalism and Public Journalism
1.2.Crise and Journalistic Innovation
2. Journalistic Business Models
2.1.Marketing and financing (financing models, community relations, audience, and audience management)
2.2. Administration and Management (including internet governance)
3. Journalistic contents: genres; formats and technologies; platforms
