Learning outcomes This curricular unit intends to be an area of interdisciplinary discussion, which allows to deepen knowledge and broaden perspectives in the areas of Multimedia Design that offer complementarity and up-to-date contents contemplated by the 2nd Cycle. It is intended that, at the end of the semester, the student will be able to: - Framing multimedia design practices and processes in broad contexts; - Formulate study questions and predict problems associated with Multimedia Design projects; - Choose and explore, independently and in groups, different languages and multimedia tools; - Begin to interpret research results, drawing and presenting conclusions critically; - Communicate ideas or results using (and integrating) different formats.
Syllabus A set of seminars given by invited experts in areas of interest to the course. The program of each seminar will be defined by the guest who is responsible for it, within a set of themes considered of interest and particular advantage for the deepening and permanent updating of the training of the student of 2nd Cycle in Multimedia Design and under the global orientation of the regent of the discipline. In this sense, the program preserves its necessary openness and flexibility, while identifying some strategic areas so it can remain relevant and up to date.
Main Bibliography Required reading should be indicated on a case-by-case basis, depending on the topic addressed in each Seminar and the needs of the proposed exercises.
