Entry requirements	The main goals are: 1. To use and to develop strategic ICT applications focused on the City 2. To build proposals of cities of the future, as sustainable and resilient environments with new functionality that breed innovation 3. To foster proposals for cities with better quality of life for their citizens, more attractive and competitive 4. To define strategies in order to promote better territorial planning, incorporating the advantages of the use of ICT 5. Mapping of the e-City and e-Planning knowledge 6. To promote the participation of PhD candidates in national / international scientific events, such as seminars or conferences, presenting and publishing a paper

Learning outcomes	e-City is an emerging research field on the behalf of city planning approach, intending to address a set of issues focused on the study and development of the interaction in between ICT (information and communication technologies) tools and City.
Syllabus	Theoretical contents 1. e-City tools and methods 2. Research methodologies in City and Territory approaches 3. Analysis methodologies of City, Territory and Urban Rehabilitation 4. Methodologies of preparing a scientific paper about e-City 5. The use of the web platform ISI web of knowledge / Science direct as a bibliographic research
