Entry requirements It doesn't have. However, extensive practices of Drawing are recommended, as well as bibliographical exploration. In the case of students without graphic experience, an extraordinary involvement and reinforced contact with the teacher is recommended (opening hours and likewise, participation in academic activities related to graphic practices).
Learning outcomes - Understanding of visual codes related to the graphic and visual presentation of projects and products in Industrial Design.
- Formal apprehension of processes and techniques of rigorous freehand representation in graphic techniques (non-digital).
- Develop effective representation skills in graphic communication for industrial project / product.
Syllabus - Graphic exploration and consolidation of the structural language of Drawing applied to illustration for Industrial Design.
- Graphic and practical development of concepts such as Structure, Contour and Volume, Surfaces and Visual Texture, Form and Surface, Movement and Symmetry.
- Theoretical and practical foundations of Perspective and processes and techniques of rigorous representation, applied to Observation Design.
- Techniques and materials in illustration for Industrial Design.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Theoretical / practical sessions in the exploration of the program, along with tutorial process supported by individual practices and in the analysis of visual characteristics and graphic work of reference.
Progressively, the teaching/learning process in Product Design develops in direct articulation with Project 1.
The evaluation is carried out in a continuous way, through the analysis of the successive proposed exercises, carried out in the classroom and explored in extra-contact hours, together with the development of programmed fieldwork.
It requires the delivery of 100% of the proposed exercises. Late deliveries will be penalized by 50%.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
