Learning outcomes Provide students with updated and in-depth knowledge on the issues of inequality, poverty and social exclusion. Understand and master the theories. Identify problems, policies, practices and protagonists. Develop critical analysis skills. Develop thinking autonomy and argumentative skills.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Continuous assessment will be done through a test (50%), a individual work (35%) and with the participation in classes (15%). Students who show that they have fully prepared at least 4 of the texts indicated by the teacher will have 10%
of participation. The other 5% of the participation will be allocated to master's students who ask questions and doubts of a sociological nature.
The continuous assessment modality includes mandatory attendance at 80% of classes.

Final assessment: the minimum grade for admission to the exam is 7 values in the test for all students..
