Learning outcomes |
This course aims to provide students with essential knowledge and skills for attending a Film Course. By combining several areas of cinematographic creation, the course promotes individualized and comprehensive learning, favouring the establishment of teams and the division of tasks.
The student must acquire a basic knowledge of the cinematographic equipment and the procedures to be adopted in a shooting, as well as promoting the use of the terminology characteristic of this disciplinary area. The curricular unit serves as a field for the analysis and laboratory experimentation of some core aspects of expression and production of meaning in audio-visual media. The student must identify the various functions and departments in a film team, as well as adopt and execute the main tools, procedures and work flowcharts.
The curricular unit allows the student to articulate and relate the theoretical knowledge that he acquired with its practical application in a laboratorial context.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The practical exercises are preceded by expository classes that allow the presentation of equipment, practices, procedures and film themes to be explored in the laboratory.
A and B (Continuous assessment exercises): During the semester, in the parameter, the student performs several exercises that focus on the subjects covered in classes.
C (Individual work): Individual film rehearsal is based on the analysis of a scene or sequence, allowing the student's mastery of the terminology used in this field to be assessed and, at the same time, assessing their analytical skills.
