Learning outcomes The main objective of the module is to operationalize the concept of “cinephilia”. Students should be able to: 1) Discuss the characteristics of cinema spectators 2) Frame “cinephilia” in the history of cinema; 3) Operationalize cinephilia through cinema programming.
Syllabus 1. The cinema spectator. Characterization of the spectator's figure from films.
2. Cinephilia: contextualization. The “old” and the “new” cinephilia.
3. Operationalize cinephilia: cinema programming.
4. Presentation in class of a work consisting of a program and carrying out at least one session within the scope of the Ubian Artistic Residencies.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The debate in a classroom context on cinema spectatorship, cinephilia and cinema programming, allows for a better definition of programming ideas, and the preparation of this programming also includes follow-up sessions by each team of students.
