Learning outcomes This UC aim to Understanding the principles of 2D and 3D digital pattern making and its relevance to the creative process in clothing design. The objectives are:
1. Identify and select tables for measures of fashion brands and in different markets and apply them to the
development of clothing pattern base and transformation.
2. To be able to develop and digitally transform patterns into CAD for clothing products developed complementarily
in the Fashion Design Project I and Atelier of Making-UP directed to the Clothing Industry.
3. Identification of the various shapes of garments complex patterns and their constituents ((main fabric; linings,
interlinings and others).
4. Ability to prepare complementary digital patterns parts.
5. Apply knowledge in patterns fashion projects multidisciplinary. Validation and verification of garment patterns in real context (Control Fit).

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Presentation of theoretical-practical (TP) contents related to the introduction of general concepts of the contents
and examples applied to the ITV Industry and the Fashion system.
Practice and techniques for digital pattern clothing: theoretical-practical exercises. Conducting group research of
successful cases in the industry and market accompanied by study visits; using market data bases (WGSN);
scientific database (b-on) and magazines and newspapers on the subject (national and international) available
online. Exercises in CAD Laboratory with Modaris software -PL. Conducting continuous assessment exercises and
theoretical-practical work to assess knowledge. The semester classification for the discipline is obtained by the
following formula: AP- Attendance and performance in classes PL (AP) - 10% of the final grade; TP1,2 (15% of the final grade); Lectra Digital Patternmaking Project (75% of the final grade). Final Grade > = 9.5 Approved. Final grade < 9.5 > 6 Not Approved
