Learning outcomes |
The aim of this course unit is to provide the student with transferable skills that can be used in the planning, execution and presentation of the results of research in the field of health sciences.
At the end of this course unit, the student shall be able to:
- select the most appropriate method of quantitative or qualitative research for a given research project.
- apply basic epidemiologic principles and concepts in the field of health sciences.
- understand the ethical and legislative framework of biomedical research.
- search and organize bibliographic references using the appropriate software tools.
- prepare a grant application for a research project in health sciences.
- identify basic techniques and procedures for the elaboration of a scientific manuscript.
