Learning outcomes This course aims to acquire knowledge in the field of visual perception and the contact with psychophysical techniques applied to vision.

At the end of the course the student should be able to:
- Identify problems related to color discrimination;
- Understand, at the current state-of-the-art, the mechanisms of color perception, space perception, motion perception and depth perception;
- Know the psychophysical techniques suited to studying the mechanisms of perception mentioned above;
- Explain the origin of optical and visual illusions.

4. Space perception.
5. Temporal aspects of vision.
6. Motion perception.
7. Depth perception.
8. Vision and perception illusions.
