Learning outcomes:
Deepen a particular topic in Mathematics or in a subject in a area with solid training in Mathematics (as eventual preparation for the Master's thesis), complementing aspects of the previous training.
Syllabus:
Syllabus to be defined according to the topic chosen by the student and by the dissertation supervisor.
Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria:
The curricular unit works under a tutorial regime, with periodic meetings being held between the student and the supervisor. The reading of papers or texts on the chosen topic for discussion in periodic sessions will be suggested.

The assessment will be made by the supervisor and by a member appointed by the Scientific Committee of the Course Committee and will consist of:
- a written work with a weight of 60%;
- a public oral presentation of the written work with a weight of 40%.
