Sebastião Pais completed his PhD in Computer Science on December 6, 2013, at the University of Beira Interior. He also completed his Master in Computer Engineering on July 31, 2008, and his Bachelor in Computer Engineering in 2007, both at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Beira Interior. He also earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Real-Time Computer Science, Robotics, and Automation on December 6, 2013, from the Mines ParisTech Centre for Research in Computer Science. He is a visiting researcher at the University of Caen Normandy and an Assistant Professor at the University of Beira Interior. He has published eight articles in specialized journals. He has authored one book chapter and one book. He has organized seven events and participated in 2 events. He has supervised and co-supervised twelve master dissertations. He has supervised eight undergraduate/bachelor''s degree final projects. He has received four awards and honours. He has participated as a Research Fellow in one project, a Researcher in three projects, and a Responsible Researcher in four projects.
