Culture and Society (1s)

a) To introduce studentes to the terms in cultural studies, including the basic terminology and the basic concepts;
b) To emphasise interdisciplinary approaches to exploring how cultural developments and manifestations are shaped and produced, distributed and consumed;
c) To discuss and research on the varied dimensions of culture and society;
d) To understand the cultural phenomena in their broader social, ethical and ploitical frameworks;
e) To developed the use of interdisciplinary critical perspectives to analyse diverse meanings of culture objects and processes: to connect the knowledge of culture to everyday life and practices.
