Call for Assignment of a Research Grant | Data Mining; Machine Learning; Big Data

It is open a call for 1 (one) Research Grant for students enrolled in a cycle of studies leading to a PhD degree or masters enrolled in a non-academic degree course, within the R&D Project “Master Aggregator”- Intelligent Platform for Content Aggregation and Management for Telco Operators”, Ref. Grant Master Aggregator-2, co-funded by the TIMWE SPIN LAB, Lda., under the Scientific Technical Collaboration Agreement signed between TIMWE SPIN LAB, Lda.  and the Department of Computer Science of the University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal.

Admission Requirements
- Master of Science degree in an Engineering area with knowledge in programming.
- Experience in scientific research, preferably in projects related with Data Mining, Machine Learning and Big Data. Skills in programming languages such as Java and Python will be valued.
- Be a student enrolled in a cycle of studies leading to a PhD degree or enrolled in a non-academic degree course;
If the academic degree required for this competition has been awarded by a foreign higher education institution, it shall be in compliance with Decree-Law 66/2018, of 16 August and Ordinance no. 33/2019, of 25 January.
