The grants are given for 12 months (renewable up to 36 months), with a net salary of: 1,144€ (approx. 1,212$ USD) + 125€ for the Portuguese social security, per month.
Candidates should hold a M.Sc. in Informatics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related fields, preferably with expertise in “Machine Learning", "Pattern Recognition" and “Data Science” topics.
Solid programming skills in C++ and Python languages are also a requirement (preference will be given to solid skills in Keras, PyTorch or Tensorflow).
The research should be conducted at the University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, under the supervision of Prof. Hugo Proença.
Work is expected to start by September 1st, 2023.
