The University of Beira Interior, in partnership with the Portuguese Engineers’ Association, presents the 2027 edition of mUBIweek: Engineering and Global Technology — a unique experience that places the international training of engineers and entrepreneurs at the heart of innovation.
Over five intensive days, participants will have access to advanced content, practical activities and technical visits that push the boundaries of engineering, technology and entrepreneurship.
More than just a training programme, mUBIweek is an opportunity to broaden horizons, forge strategic links with experts and professionals from around the world, and open doors to commercial partnerships, new careers and transformative projects.
For one week, Covilhã becomes the meeting point for excellence in knowledge and global innovation, enriched by the discovery of the culture, cuisine and landscapes of the Serra da Estrela.

Participation details:
- Dates: to be confirmed, based on proposals from the participating organisations, at least four months in advance. Weeks that include national or local public holidays in Portugal will not be considered.
- Limited places: 20 participants.
- Registration fee: €1,000.00 (Participants with a proven connection to organisations that have cooperation agreements with UBI are entitled to a 15 per cent discount on the registration fee).I
Includes: Insurance, transport during the programme, accommodation, daily meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Excludes: Travel between the country of origin and Portugal and return, and travel within Portugal to the pick-up and drop-off point for participants (Gare do Oriente, in Lisbon).
