After a successful first edition, bringing together around 30 participants and already resulting in several submitted project proposals, the UBI Training Hub/AI-Assisted Project Writing returns with an enhanced, practice-oriented format.
Organized by the Vice-Rectory for Research of the University of Beira Interior / NECE-Research Center for Business Sciences, with the support of C-MADE, this international training opportunity focuses on Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Portugal 2030, and other EU funding programmes. It is designed for professionals seeking to develop strong, competitive proposals through a fully hands-on experience.
The 2026 edition is structured into two complementary courses: MILES (AI Project Writing) and SCORE (AI Project Evaluation).
Led by Igor Razbornik (Better Future), the training functions as a live incubator rather than a traditional course. Participants work directly on their own project ideas, applying each concept in real time to build a coherent, evaluator-ready proposal.
Using the integrated MILES & SCORE AI system, participants follow a structured loop of design, drafting, auditing, and refinement, ensuring their proposals meet real evaluation standards from the outset.
By the end of the training, participants will achieve:
-Up to 90% of a complete, high-quality proposal draft
-A clear intervention logic linking objectives, activities, and impact
-A proposal tested and strengthened through iterative AI-supported feedback
-A repeatable methodology for future EU applications
Additionally, participants receive 30 days of full access to the MILES and SCORE tools, allowing them to finalise and further refine their proposals after the training.
