Profile of the programme
|
The Master of Sports Sciences in UBI is essentially directed to Bachleor Graduates, Physical Education Teachers and Coaches. The professional quality and experience of the teachers who assure this Master degree turn possible a high level of theoretical and practical learning. It was our concern to select a teaching staff with enormous national and international reputation, with wide scientific publication and high experience in higher education. Thus, it will be determining a strong approach between teacher/student, which shall be achieved in intensive seminaries that those invited teachers will direct and in the tutorial following that internal teachers will assure. We do not want a classical evaluation, i.e., with exams or oral evaluations, but we do want an evaluation with regular assignments presentation proposed by each teacher. |

Occupational profiles of graduates

When the course first year is concluded, students may do their dissertation in any of the themes, for which there are supervisors in the Department, namely in the following areas: Sports Training, Exercise and Health and Sports Management. |

The course counts on the participation of all structures and laboratories of UBI, and yet on CIDESD Investigation Centre in Sports, Health, and Human Development and its different Sports Performance, Health and Exercise groups and Professional and Pedagogical Intervention support.
