The Master’s program in Entrepreneurship and Firm creation is designed to give students for graduates in any area of science a focused, relevant and utilizable body of knowledge in Entrepreneurship and Management, relevant for the creation and development of projects. At the same time, it aims to develop a set of soft skills fundamental to the leadership, creation and management of innovative projects. These innovative projects either within existing firms/organizations or by creation new firms.
The diversity of participants in the level of training, areas of knowledge and professional career, coupled with the individual potential of each participant, makes the 2nd Cycle / Master in Entrepreneurship and Business Creation a unique course that marks the difference, transforms and enhances the valences and capabilities of each of the participants.

Key learning outcomes

With the completion of a Masters in Entrepreneurship and Business Creation, aims to provide students with the skills to respond optimally to the challenges, nationally and internationally. Specifically, it intends to: - Make known theoretical and practical tools of entrepreneurship in its various forms, encouraging entrepreneurship and enterprise; - Make known methods, techniques and management tools to allow for the acquisition of specific skills, an efficacious, appropriate to the business environment in permanent organizational change; - Acquire and enhance skills through the sharing of experience of professionals from different areas; - Promote scientific research in different areas of Entrepreneurship, Business Creation and Small and Medium Enterprises. In the short term, we intend to: Provide knowledge and theoretical and practical tools of entrepreneurship in its various forms, encouraging entrepreneurship and new venture creation; Make known methods, techniques and management tools, particularly adapted to the reality of SME; Promote scientific research in different areas of Entrepreneurship, Business Creation and Small and Medium Enterprises. In the long run aims to enable: Develop business concepts and formalize business plans. Promote the realization of entrepreneurial initiatives. |

The course aims to deepen and consolidate the knowledge acquired in the first cycle, giving its graduates a high quality professional expertise, enabling them to consider the role business a viable alternative to employment for hire or reward, but also train professionals with a high sense of initiative , high degree of autonomy and decision-making in carrying out its functions. The course aims to encourage and develop entrepreneurship and enterprise as a source of self-employment and local economic development. It is a course that specifically aims to develop knowledge and skills required of management and organization (s) to understand, launch and implementation of business processes. DGE makes available to the entire academic community the following structures and equipment: - Library of Social Sciences and Humanities, with books and specialized scientific journals in the fields of economics, management, sociology, psychology and others. - Bibliographic databases online: - ISI Web of Knowledge Platform (Wok) - Library of Knowledge Online (B-On), which has 3500 of six scientific journals publishing full text; - Database ProQuest (main database of scientific articles of Management). - NECE CEFAGE and funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology. - Computer Rooms with specific software (SPSS, EViews, Amos, Microfit) and updated hardware. - Office with Wireless and network points. - Bar / Restaurant - Pole exists on the premises of a bar with food service (snack) - Accommodation in rooms or apartments in several homes. |
