Profile of the programme
This cycle of studies intend to encompass the different applications included in the training of engineering in Bioengineering, in particular Clinical Bioengineering, Biomedical Informatics and Instrumentation, Automation and Control, which correspond to different labour markets, still with the formation in a common bioengineering expertise basis. The course aims to prepare human resource capacity to address problems in a multidisciplinary way of biomedicine and industrial biotechnology under the perspectives of process engineering, biotechnology, biomedical informatics and automation and control
The course offers three alternative routes that allow the differentiation of students in terms of profile (Clinical Bioengineering, Biomedical Informatics and Instrumentation, Automation and Control), after a strong common core in Bioengineering
Key learning outcomes
The course will provide well trained human resources with skills to meet the new challenges of Bioengineering in industry and research through scientific and technical expertise in Bioengineering, namely: chemical-biological processes, tissue engineering, biomedical instrumentation, processing and analysis of biomedical signals and images, medical devices, bioinformatics, and bionic. |
Learning facilities
The course will take place in the 3 Faculties of UBI: Engineering, Sciences and Health Sciences. |
