Learning outcomes The objective of this curricular unit is that students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of physical principles and laws useful to understand the human body. A student completing this course should be able to identify, interpret and analyze elementary physical situations involving the human body. The student should be able to understand and apply some of the basic principles used in physiology.

Heat and Kinetic Theory. Diffusion. Osmosis.

Waves, Sound and light. Senses: hearing and sight.
