Learning outcomes Digital circuits: theoretical and practical aspects of analysis and synthesis. Design of systems of small complexity, with SSI and MSI ICs. Approach to the technological aspects of the digital circuits implementation, both on the hardware and software domains.

Intellectual competences: Representation and conversion of numeric and alphanumeric information. Execution of operations in binary arithmetic. Combinational and sequential logic circuit design.

Practical competences: Implementation of low complexity digital circuits. Detection and debugging of hardware faults in digital circuits. Assembly and testing of digital integrated circuits (ICs), configured in functional systems.
