Entry requirements -
Learning outcomes 1.To deepen and consolidate the concepts involved in the design of fashion products. 2. Acquire knowledge about the intervention territories of design and technology in the design and development of solutions in the design of fashion products. 3. Developing resources for analysis of interest, innovation and idealization of new solutions integrating the knowledge of materials, technology, their characteristics and applications in the applications in products. 4. Identify areas of interaction between aesthetics and technology through the conceptual design of fashion products 5. Critically analyze the potential of "smart textiles" as a form of innovation and creativity without the development of fashion products.
Syllabus
1. Relation between Fashion design and technologies Integration of perspectives in the conceptualization of fashion product Methodologies and tools used in the generation, analysis and selection of ideas and product concepts Dynamic cycle of product development 2. Conceptual design of fashion products Creative problem solving, systematic exploration (analogies and transpositions, matrix of discoveries, etc.) Three-dimensional models of fashion products Conceptual experimentation of new materials and new forms. Exploration of the relationship between aesthetics and technology. Design of fashion design and its relation to product performance, perceived value by the consumer and the competitive position of the product 3. Smart textiles Clothing as an extension interface of Man. Analysis and discussion of cases Design engeneering of new solutions involving materials and technology.
