Learning outcomes The main objective of the curricular unit is to provide students the methodological tools that enable them to design and develop their PhD project. By the end of the curricular unit, the student should be able to:
- Identify the several stages of the research process in communication sciences;
- Correlate the theories and methods of communication;
- Characterize the several methods and techniques for the research in communication sciences;
- Design a research project.

3. Research methods and techniques.
