Learning outcomes -Create, develop and evaluate teaching units. -Know the language skills and create activities for work in class. -Critically reflect on the process of teaching and learning of Spanish as a foreign language in order to draw conclusions on future teaching practice. -Reflect on the process of evaluation in the context of teaching and learning of Spanish as a foreign language. To analyze textbooks for the teaching of spanish regulatory documents and materials of Spanish teaching in Portugal. -Understand and use specific terminology in the field of the teaching of spanish.
Syllabus 1 Development and interrelation skills or language skills and communication: 1.1. Listening. 1.2. Reading comprehension. 1.3. Speaking. 1.4. Written expression. 1.5. Oral interaction.
2 Programming didactic units: 2.1. Programs of teaching Spanish as a foreign language. 2.2. Program activities and teaching units. 2.3. Development of teaching units.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Theoretical-practical classes that contribute to fulfill the objectives predicted through the analysis of materials
(individual and in groups), reading and critical commentary on scientific articles related to the
program of the Curricular Unit, the elaboration of didactic units and activities to work the linguistic abilities, etc.
The evaluation consists of the elaboration of three individual papers (activities related to different didactic units included in the programs approved by the Ministry of Education for the teaching of Spanish, foreign language) presented orally and in writing, in the reading and critical commentary of scientific articles and critical appraisal of the didactic-pedagogical works presented in class.
