Syllabus |
1. The Iberian languages: from linguistic origins to the general framework of Romanticism. 2. The particular case of Galician, Portuguese and Castilian: diachronic and synchronic considerations. 3. Luso-Castilian bilingualism in the 14th to 16th centuries and some considerations on the period of the Dual Monarchy (1580-1640). 4. Analysis of ancient Galician-Portuguese texts.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Active, student-centered methodologies. Formative and continuous assessment: 2 oral presentations, with discussion, at the end of each month (October and November), each worth 30% (60% in total). Delivery of the final work, at the end of the semester: 40%, with 10% for the presentation and writing of the same.
