Learning outcomes Adquire knowledge related to the characteristics of aging of the visual system, the most common visual anomalies and optometric examination in the geriatric population.
- Acquire knowledge about diseases that characterize the aging of the visual system.
- Know the psychological effects of aging.
- Distinguish normal aging effects from eye diseases.
- To learn methods and techniques of the geriatric optometry.
- Know how to advise ergonomic improvements in geriatric population.
- Learn to operate Optometric/Ophthalmologic equipment used in the analysis of the geriatric population.
