Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria In the dissertation of scientific nature modality, a scientific supervisor is assigned to guide the preparation of a research project for presentation to the Course Scientific Committee and if it involves human beings, guide the elaboration of the project for presentation in an ethics committee. The orientation involves the phases of data collection, analysis of results and writing of the dissertation.
In the internship report modality, a clinical supervisor is assigned at the internship site and a scientific supervisor. The clinical supervisor will oversee Optometry examinations and guide the writing of the internship report from a clinical standpoint. The scientific supervisor will guide the scientific and formal aspects of the Internship Report.
