Learning outcomes |
The main learning goal, for this unit consists, from the student point of view, acquisition of concepts and knowledge from previous years, mainly Wave Optics and Optical Systems and its application to life sciences. In this way, the learning on fundamentals of photonics and its respective applications to medical and biology are relevant. Furthermore, special attention is put on the resolution of worked examples and laboratory work focused on the program. Finally, it is intended that the student must develop basic research capacity and the ability to transmit knowledge by doing bibliographic research and its respective oral presentation focused on a topic of the program.
