Learning outcomes Introduction to organizational behavior in all its components and learning the individual aspects: personality and satisfaction; the group aspects: team management, leadership, communication and conflict; and the organizational structure: technology, culture and organizational change. At the end of the course the student should be able to identify and to distinguish between the individual and the group components: values, attitudes, personality, stages of group development, team management and leadership. The student will be able to identify the communication needs and sources of conflict, defining and implementing preventive strategies for action. The student must also identify the structural factors that influence the performance of organizations and to develop integrated plans for response to the demands imposed by each organizational context (cultural, technological or other).
Syllabus 1 - Introduction to organizational behavior. 2 - The individual: attitudes, satisfaction and motivation at work. 3 - Emotional intelligence, organizational commitment and decision making. 4- Working groups, group processes and teambuilding. 5- Leadership and communication. 6- Change, power, conflict and negotiation. 7- Strategic and sustained management of human resources. 8- Organizational culture. 9- Change, Mobbing, stress and burnout. 10- Digital transformation: organizational behavior in the virtual age. 11- Measuring instruments and current research topics in organizational behavior.
