Learning outcomes This Course Unit aims to familiarize students with the fundamental concepts of Introduction to the Study of Law and, in particular, the ones that are more used in commercial law and teach them how to resolve problems intrinsic with the trade applying the write legal rules.
At the end of the course the student should be able to critically analyze the role and necessity of the law, its sources and its different branches, understand and explain the basic concepts of the commercial law, including commercial acts, traders and companies; to describe the specific rules applicable to acts of trade and the special obligations of the trader; distinguish the main types of companies and their regime and training process, and resolve and discuss case studies with the correct application of the legislation.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Students can choose one of the followingt evaluations: a) continuou evaluation; b) or final exam.

a) students are subject to two written tests, each worth 50% of the final grade of the curricular unit but the student cannot give more than 5 faults;

b) students do just one final exam, informing the teatcher 15 days befor the exam, by email
