The course unit aims to provide students with a comprehensive view of communication theories and has the following main objectives: 1 – Understanding and applying some of the main theoretical paradigms of communication, developing skills in critical analysis of media phenomena. 2 – Identifying and explaining fundamental theories in real-world contexts (advertising, news, social networks).
