Syllabus |
1. Research: investigation, collection and selection and organization of information: - Organization and structuring of a theme and a text - Organization and structuring of text and images - Planning, organization and structuring of information and infographics. - Anatomy of infographics. 2. Origins, applications and methodology of information design: - Brief history of information design and infographics, analysis of infographics, typologies. - Methodology and methods of information design 3. Multimedia design applied to infographics: - identification, organization of groups of information in infographics. - Usability, navigation and interactivity - Organization of information, organizational charts and graphical representations of data. - Principles of narrative and navigation. 4. Information design: - Structures for visualizing information and data. - Overall visual coherence (graphic, typographic, chromatic, and interaction). - Presentations of work phases.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Introductory presentation on concepts, principles and methodologies of information design. Presentation of examples and tools for the design and programming of multimedia infographics. Development of project accompanied by the teacher. Discussion of projects in class. Evaluation in three phases of the project: definition of the subject, data collection, organization charts and / or Storyboard; Infographics for paper; Infographics for screen. Evaluation: - Theme, Data organization planification and visual research: 20% - Linear Satic Infographic: 35% - Interactive Infographic: 45%
