Learning outcomes |
Continuing Sociology I, Sociology II aims to introduce students to some core themes of sociology. Within these themes we address core concepts and introduce theoretical approaches central to explain and understand social reality. - Continue to contribute to the social deconstruction of preconceived ideas and to the development of the sociological imagination; - Develop a scientific, critical and reflexive stand; - Analyse core aspects of modern society and illustrate them in terms of sociological theories and concepts; - Analyze and interpret basic readings in sociology; - Demonstrate capacity to discuss and sociologically argue both orally and in writing.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
Classes will take place in a mixed format: a theoretical class, more expository, although always seeking the critical intervention of the students, and a practical class, in the form of a discussion seminar, or group work, to allow greater training of the critical and reflective spirit.
