Learning outcomes |
(1) to familiarize the students with the main cognitive, interpersonal, and group processes with relevance in Social Psychology; (2) to show and value the connection of Social Psychology with other scientific areas and (3) to demonstrate the instrumental value of the discipline in the application to current issues and issues. At the end of the course, it is expected that the students have developed the following competencies: Understanding the object of study, areas of interest, interdisciplinary relationships, and research methodologies of Social Psychology; Acquisition of theoretical knowledge about cognitive, interpersonal, and group processes addressed (social cognition, attitudes, group processes / social influence and processes of social relation); Application of the knowledge acquired for the understanding and critical analysis of socially relevant issues; Interpersonal skills of group work; Communication skills of ideas, problems, and solutions.
