Learning outcomes	Introduce students in the main sociological and social studies of science and technology debates on scientific and technological development. Make the distinction as well as know the interrelationships between science, technology and innovation Discuss the neutral and non-social approaches of science and technology Distinguish the constructivist approaches on science and technology Analyse the political nature of science and technology and the importance of public participation Cross-cutting skills: - Working as a team - Develop autonomy and analytical skills - Reveal an ethical conscience regarding scientific and technological development
Syllabus	1.Introduction to a constructivist approach of Science and Technology 1.1. From the a-social conceptions to those defended by the Social Studies of Science and Technology: a brief retrospective and contextualization 1.2. From science, technology and innovation to technoscience: concepts, differences and interrelationships 2. The theoretical perspectives on science and technology 2.1. Technologically deterministic approaches and neutral approaches of science 2.2. Constructivist approaches of science and technology 3. The science and technology as eminently political issues 3.1. Scientific and technological knowledge and public participation
