Learning outcomes |
The course aims to provide to students the necessary skills for the use of Geographic Information Systems as a tool to support the Management of Transport Infrastructure, in its different fields (infrastructure and operation). The following competencies are transmitted to students: (a) Understanding and identification of particular aspects of the management of transport infrastructure, especially for the case of road networks. (b) Ability to build a GIS model to support the management of a transport infrastructure (global organization of the model, database structure, treatment, organization and exploration of data).
