Learning outcomes Provide the student with advanced knowledge in a particular area of Science and Engineering of the Fibrous Materials and the ability to carry out original research. Throughout the UC, the student develops the capabilities of analyze complex subject, synthesis, research strategy and independence. At the end of the PhD, the student must be able to carry out high-level research independently.

Knowledge, skills and competences:
• Understand and systematize advanced knowledge in a specific area of science and engineering of fibrous materials;
• Conduct original research, under the supervision of the supervisor, using appropriate research methodologies and analytical tools;
• Conduct research that deserve international dissemination in publications subject to scientific arbitration, contributing to the expansion of knowledge frontiers;
• Communicate with the peers, the other academic community and the society in general in the area of science and engineering of fibrous materials.
