Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The classes will be theoretical-practical and tutorial. The instructor presents the concepts, states the results, demonstrating many of them. Additionally, he illustrates the theory with examples and applications. The instructor indicates texts from the bibliography for the student to deepen their knowledge. Students are encouraged to participate in classes, interacting with the teacher and sometimes solving exercises and problems. Autonomous work is also encouraged, consisting mainly of solving exercises, problems, and mathematical demonstrations. The evaluation carried out throughout the teaching-learning period will consist of 4 exercise sets that must be solved and submitted. The grade for each exercise set will encompass the evaluation of written answers and also an oral discussion on the subject matter of that set. The final grade will be the average of the grades of the exercise sets.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
