Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The pedagogical method adopted in the course unit is Project-Based Learning, which involves research, critical reading and analysis of texts, teamwork, and the development of activities in the classroom. In this course unit, seminars will also be held with specialists in the studied topics who have both field and research experience in these areas.
Given the specificity of the course unit, students will be required to:
a) Research various topics, concepts, authors, and current trends in Theories of Social Exclusion;
b) Investigate and read about specific issues in contemporary societies that stem from social exclusion;
c) Present and discuss the results of their research;
d) Critically support a point of view during presentations;
e) Understand the importance of knowledge sharing in the classroom;
f) Present and discuss the results of their research.
