Learning outcomes |
Option 1) Provide students with the skills necessary to develop a scientific research project. With the intend to write a master's thesis the following year, each student must choose their topic, formulate a starting question, outline research objectives and hypotheses, as well as thoroughly understand all the methods and techniques at their disposal. to achieve self-proposed goals. Option 2) Provide students with the necessary skills to write scientific articles and academic works. In order to conclude and defend original and well-founded reflections, different rules of scientific writing and research methods that can be applied to film studies must be mastered. Totality: Understand the dynamics of presentation and discussion of academic work, through participation in (and organization of) thematic, national and international meetings.

- Introduction to the scientific approach; - Essential rules of scientific writing; - Research methods and techniques; - Phases of constructing a scientific investigation (delimitation of the topic, bibliographic survey, theoretical framework, delimitation of the specific object, objectives and hypotheses, choice of methodologies); - Organization and presentation of the results of scientific research.
