Learning outcomes It is intended for this curricular unit that students learn the fundamentals of organic chemistry related with the characteristics of compounds based on carbon, nomenclature, relevance of stereochemistry and introduction to IR and NMR spectroscopy. Within Analytical Chemistry scope is required the domain and application of the chemical equilibrium concept to acid-base reactions, oxidation-reduction reactions and solid-liquid equilibrium;

Acid-base titrations 3.2. Buffer solutions 3.3. Indicators 4. Solid-liquid equilibrium 4.1. Precipitation reactions 4.2. Solubility product 5. Oxidation-reduction 5.1. Oxi-redox reactions 5.2. Galvanic cells 5.3. Electrolytic cells 6. Chemistry of carbon compounds 6.1. Structure, nomenclature and physico-chemical properties of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and representative functional groups 6.2. Stereochemistry of carbon compounds 6.3.
