Learning outcomes |
This course unit aims to describe and integrate the knowledge concerning the organs and cells of the blood and the Immune, Digestive, Endocrine, and Uro-genital systems, as well as their specialized functions in the human body. By the end of this course the students must be able: 1.To identify the blood components and functions. 2.To describe the anatomy, embryology, histology, and physiology of the organs belonging to the Digestive, endocrine, Uro-genital, and Immune Systems in human beings. 3.To establish the relationship between the anatomy and the physiology of the studied organs in order to later demonstrate the potential site of action and effects of drugs.
