Learning outcomes The Multimedia Project II curricular unit proposes to contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of multimedia design, expanding the students' abilities for analysis, reflection and problematization of multimedia design and its action.
It is intended that students exercise and test the limits of design, experimenting with languages, approaches and issues always with the principle of design proposal in mind. By articulating and formatting the project, students will be able to develop critical thinking about multimedia design itself and its presence in society, thus contributing to the purposes of training at the Master's level.
a) Develop a project in multimedia design for critically questioning the subject and the conceptual, formal and language approaches of the discipline;
b) Be able to use the design process as a form of investigation;
c) Develop autonomy in choosing a work area and deepening it.
Syllabus The design project as research;
Research base project with an experimental character in Multimedia Design;
Characterization and exploration of problems and possibilities for project responses;
Problem definition based on the issues dealt with, research and analysis;
Critical perspectives for approaching the problem and proposal of a disciplinary area for the project's application;
Planning and structures;
Language development;
Formal proposals;
Models and layout;
Presentation and discussion of the project.

Although all stages of the work are monitored and coordinated, the development of the work and decision-making by the students aims to promote their autonomy, critical sense and self-reflective skills.
