Work placements Students may opt for an internship with a final report production. The internship takes place in a professional context, through a protocol established with the host organization. An internship plan must be previously established, duly homologated by the parties, who will appoint the interlocutor and the person responsible for their orientation.
Learning outcomes Ability to develop a autonomous multimedia design project, or an internship, from research to planning, from concept to detail, from prototypes to post-production and presentation.
Ability to plan, structure, research, develop and write a project or an internship report.
Ability to plan, structure, research and write a theoretical dissertation.
Ability to present and publicly defend the report or dissertation.
Syllabus Definition of a theme and object of study. Establishment of the research plan. Development of an adequate bibliographical review of the state of the art. Application of the projectual or theoretical research process. Collection of results and conclusions. Critical description and documentation of the work done. Writing the report or dissertation. Presentation of the internship, project or dissertation and its public defense.
Main Bibliography Required reading will be defined according to the type, theme and object of study of the research to be carried out by each student.
Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria The assessment process is governed by the applicable legislation and the institution's master's degree regulations, as well as the applicable rectorial orders. Evaluation of the dissertation, project, internship and respective report by a jury.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
