To analyze the main aspects of pharmacology, microbiology and pathology as well as the main aspects and applications of nuclear medicine and imaging and pathology laboratory To analyze the symptomatology and pathophysiology of gastrointestinal, renal, hematological, cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, osteo-articular, endocrine and metabolic systems At the end of this course the student should be able: To apply knowledge Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, pathophysiology and clinical symptomatology in clinical approach to patients To know the most common clinical syndromes To identify the main aspects of Nuclear Medicine and Imaging, and laboratory, and must have acquired the competence level of the skills and attitudes of the LAC program for the 3rd year. To collect and draw up a clinical history and examination and address the syndromatic diagnosis To demonstrate competencies of professionalism

Reversible and irreversible cell injury; acute and chronic inflammatory reaction: neoplasia; vascular pathology. General principles of action of drugs. Pharmacology of the Nervous System-Peripheral, Autonomic and Central. Pharmacology of inflammation, pain and local anesthesia, gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases. Drugs used in renal, cardiovascular and blood system. Pharmacology associated with endocrine and metabolic diseases. General principles of action of antibiotics, antiviral, antifungal, anticancer and immunomodulatory drugs. Key aspects of semiotics and pathophysiology cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, hematologic, neurologic, endocrine-metabolic, osteo-articular. Main aspects of surgical semiotics. Diagnosis in microbiology, characteristics of positive and negative cocci, gram negative bacilli, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, virology, mycology and parasitology.
