To provide students with knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of Medical Ethics and Bioethics relevant to the practice of medicine
At the end of UC students should be able to:
- Identify the ethical principles associated with the practice of the profession
- Know the ethical principles related to end of life issues
- Know doctor rights and duties
- Respect patient and families decisions
- Communicate properly with patients and their families and with different health professionals.
