Learning outcomes The main goal of the Experimental Activities in Research laboratories curricular unit is to allow students to learn advanced techniques and to understand the concepts necessary for the application of experimental methodologies that will be used during the development of his PhD plan study.
At the end of this curricular unit the student should be able to:
Apply scientific knowledge and technical expertise to advanced laboratory techniques in the field of chemistry; Follow safety procedures and use the laboratory equipment properly; Show appropriate behavior on the use of specific laboratorial techniques, including teamwork and time management.
Syllabus Frequency of theoretical or practical courses on experimental techniques considered relevant to the doctoral project, taught in UBI or another institution.
Main Bibliography Each student should look for the pertinent bibliography related to the work he is carrying out with the help of his supervisor.
Language Portuguese. Tutorial support is available in English.
