Syllabus 1. Discourse Analysis as a multidisciplinary linguistics area.
2. The concept of text, discourse, context and cotext.
3. Lexicon, syntax, semantics and discourse.
4. Text genres and types
5. Linguistic theories and discourse approach.
6. From Discourse Analysis to Critical Discourse Analysis.
