Learning outcomes The course is part of the 3rd cycle studies in Civil Engineering, it is optional, and intends to transmit advanced knowledge in the field of Architectural Historiography as a complement to research leading to the development of doctoral theses. The general objective of this course is to deepen the knowledge in the context of the characterization and understanding of the interrelation and multidisciplinary approach used.
The following competencies will be developed on this curricular unit:
a) Dominion over the State of the art research with the use of architectural historiography
b) Understanding and validation of multidisciplinarity in research in Civil Engineering
c) Recognition and understanding of the importance of context when there is the intervention in historic buildings d) Mastery of tools and fundamentals of architectural historiography applied to the analysis of historic buildings
